Grow with Us

Today, WestGate’s core offerings are a mix of office and light industrial uses. Park tenants engage in a range of activities including applied research, testing, software and systems development, program and contract management, training, and sustainment.

USTF is working with our economic development partners to bring new buildings into the park to diversify the park’s core offerings and to provide spaces for current companies to grow. As we transform WestGate into a modern, mixed use knowledge community, we are also eager to attract new uses, including retail, restaurant, and hospitality.

A Region on the Rise

WestGate is located in the beautiful Indiana Uplands region. The Uplands region possesses an excellent quality of life, charming communities, and desirable outdoor amenities, such as forests, parks, caves, and lakes.

For nearly a decade, the Uplands region has made defense sector growth a key regional priority through our “Innovation Ecosystem” model, which leverages R+D from NSWC Crane, research universities and the private sector. Employment in the regional defense sector grew 13.5% from 2012 to 2020, with average wages above $75,000 per year.
